Goldpac, located in the Mainland China, is one of the worldwide leading providers of secured card solutions, card issuance system and card personalization service since 1993. We believe this new service partnership will enhance our ability to provide quality services to our customers.
It is always the policy of Dah Sing Bank to fully comply with the data protection principles and relevant provisions of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) during the disclosure or transfer of any personal data. Goldpac will also apply stringent controls to safeguard the confidentiality and security of your data during the chip card / magnetic strip card embossing and personalization process. Your personal data may also be disclosed or provided to any person to whom Dah Sing Bank or Goldpac is under an obligation to make disclosure under any applicable laws or regulations, or under and for the purposes of any guidelines issued by competent regulator(s) or other authorities (including but not limited to government departments, judiciary or tax authority(ies)).

Terms and Conditions for Welcome offer:
Promotion period is valid from August 20, 2012 to December 31, 2013 (the "Promotion Period").
Welcome offer is only applicable to new Principal Card applicant (i.e. not hold / cancel any principal card or supplementary card of any card type issued by Dah Sing Bank ('the Bank') in the past 12 months) who successfully applied for Dah Sing MileagePlus MasterCard within the Promotion Period. Each Principal Card applicant can only apply for one Dah Sing MileagePlus® MasterCard and is entitled to the welcome offer once only.
To enjoy 4,500 enrollment bonus miles, the Principal Cardholder of Dah Sing MileagePlus MasterCard needs to accumulate a retail spending and/or cash advance of HK$3,500 or above within the first 2 months from card issuance.
The valid accumulated spending amount for welcome gift includes retail purchases, cash advances, "Happy Installment" monthly installment amount, "Cash-in Plan" monthly installment amount, branch cash-in, direct debit payment amount, recurring payment amount, balance transfer amount (which has been posted), Stocks Investment Savings Plan, "Payeasy" bill payment amount, "JETCO" bill payment amount, interest-free monthly installment amount, Gift redemption amount (if applicable), cheque payment amount (if applicable), Octopus Automatic Add Value Service ("Octopus AAVS") amount; but excluding the following transactions, including but not limited to Bank handling fees (including annual fee, financial charge, late fee and cash advance handling fee etc), casino transactions, unposted / cancelled / refunded and all unauthorized transactions. Retail spending and cash advance transactions of Supplementary Card would be counted towards the Principal Card account. The Bank reserves the right to determine the eligibility of the transactions for the welcome gift entitlement.
The enrollment bonus miles will be credited to the Cardholder's MileagePlus account within 6-8 weeks upon fulfillment of the spending requirement and a notification letter will be sent out to the Cardholder. Cardholder's account must be valid and in good standing at the time of issuing the notification letter. The Bank will credit the enrollment bonus miles to the Cardholder's MileagePlus Account Number provided by the Cardholder.
The Bank reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions or cancel the offer at any time without prior notice.
All matter and dispute is subject to the final decision of the Bank.
Terms and Conditions relating to MileagePlus®:
Dah Sing Bank ("The Bank") will credit the awarded miles to the MileagePlus Account according to the MileagePlus Account Number provided by the Cardholders. If the pertinent miles fail to be credited due to an incorrect MileagePlus Account Number provided by the Cardholders, the Bank will not be held liable and will not re-issue the pertinent miles.
If the Cardholder changes his/her MileagePlus account after the credit card has been used, the Cardholder must inform the Bank at least 1 month prior of the change in order to get the miles, which earned subsequently, being transferred to the account as requested. The Bank will not be held liable and will not re-issue the relevant miles if the Cardholder does not provide updated information in such case.
Miles will be credited to the Cardholder's MileagePlus Account within 6 - 8 weeks after the issuance of Credit Card statement and the Cardholder's Credit Card account must be valid and in good standing at the time when the Bank awards the miles to the Cardholder.
- After the Bank credits the miles to Cardholder's MileagePlus Account, the Bank will not hold any responsibility towards the miles converted.
United Airlines, its subsidiaries, affiliates and agents are not responsible for any products and services of other participating companies and partners.
Miles accrued and awards issued are subject to the rules of the United MileagePlus Program. The MileagePlus Program, including accruals, awards and bonus miles offers, is subject to change without notice. Taxes and fees related to award travel are the responsibility of the passenger. General Terms and Conditions:
Cardholder who spends every HK$8 on qualified retail transactions will earn 8 bonus points which will be automatically converted to 1 mile. The bonus points will be auto-converted to miles on the statement date every month. To be eligible for auto-conversion, Principal Cardholder must be MileagePlus member simultaneously. Bonus point will be calculated based on each retail transaction in an accumulative basis (calculated up to the last integer) as shown on the Credit Card monthly statement. The total bonus points earned for the retail transactions for Principal Card, Supplementary Card and Happy Family Account (if applicable) will be calculated and converted to miles separately. The miles thus earned will be credited to the Principal Cardholder's MileagePlus Account. Any miles beyond the decimal place after conversion will not be accumulated.
Qualified transactions for mile conversion include retail purchase and Octopus Automatic Add Value Service amount ("Eligible transactions"), but exclude the following transactions, including but not limited to cash advance, autopay, "Happy Installment" installment amount, Cash-in Plan amount, Branch Cash-in, balance transfer amount, Stocks Investment Savings Plan, "Payeasy" bill payment amount, "Jet Payment" payment amount, tax payment, interest-free monthly installment amount, cheque payment (if applicable), bank handling fee (including but not limited to annual fee, financial charge, late fee and cash advance handling fee etc), casino transactions, unposted / cancelled / refunded and all unauthorized transactions.
Overseas transactions include transactions in Hong Kong Dollar or Foreign Currencies made outside Hong Kong, transactions in Foreign Currencies made in Hong Kong and transactions at any merchant not registered in Hong Kong. Double Miles on Overseas spending award is only applicable to Dah Sing MileagePlus Platinum MasterCard, but not applicable to Dah Sing MileagePlus Titanium MasterCard / Dah Sing MileagePlus Gold MasterCard.

If Principal Cardholder cancels his / her new Dah Sing MileagePlus® MasterCard within 13 months from card issuance, the Bank reserves the right to debit a handling fee of HK$300 to the relevant Principal Card Account without prior notice.
The Bank and United Airlines reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions and / or amend or terminate this offer at any time without prior notice.
