This promotion (this "Promotion") is open to holders of Octopus cards or products issued by Octopus Cards Limited ("OCL") ("Octopus holders") and subject to the terms and conditions (the "Terms and Conditions") set out below.

The promotion period (the "Promotion Period") of this Promotion is from 10 December 2012 to 31 March 2013 (both dates inclusive).

To be eligible for the Promotion Offer (as defined in Clause 6 below), a holder of an Eligible Octopus (as defined in Clause 4 below)(the "Eligible Octopus Holder") has to:

1. successfully apply for Octopus Automatic Add Value Service ("AAVS") for his/her Eligible Octopus by linking his/her Eligible Octopus to a bank card or a credit card issued by a financial institution in Hong Kong as the AAVS account ("AAVS Account") by himself/herself or through his/her friend during the Promotion Period;
2. complete the registration process during the Promotion Period by calling at designated registration hotline in accordance with Clause 5 below; and
3. make at least one successful AAVS transaction using such Eligible Octopus through the AAVS Account on or before 31 March 2013.

To participate in this Promotion, an Eligible Octopus Holder is required to successfully register with OCL through the designated registration hotline by providing the Octopus number of his/her Eligible Octopus and contact phone number.

An Eligible Octopus Holder who has successfully applied for HK$250 AAVS auto-reload amount will be entitled to an Octopus PC Reader. An Eligible Octopus Holder who has successfully applied for HK$500 AAVS auto-reload amount will be entitled to an Octopus PC Reader and an additional HK$100 supermarket cash coupon. The Octopus PC Reader and the HK$100 supermarket cash coupon are collectively referred to as the "Promotion Offer". The Promotion Offer will be offered on a first-come-first-served basis, while stocks last. OCL shall have the sole and absolute right to offer an alternative for any out-of-stock item of the Promotion Offer.

For the avoidance of doubt, if an Eligible Octopus Holder has made more than one successful AAVS transactions during the Promotion Period, the last AAVS transaction made by such Eligible Octopus Holder during the Promotion Period shall be used to determine his/her entitlement of the Promotion Offer.

Notwithstanding the provision in Clause 6, if an Eligible Octopus Holder who has initially applied for HK$500 AAVS auto-reload amount but subsequently changed the auto-reload amount to a smaller amount during the first twelve months of the date of the application of AAVS, the Eligible Octopus Holder acknowledges and agrees that OCL has the right to deduct an administrative fee of HK$100 or such other reasonable amount as determined by OCL from the AAVS Account at any time without prior notice.

Each Eligible Octopus Holder can only enjoy the Promotion Offer once in this Promotion.

Each Eligible Octopus Holder will receive a redemption letter no later than 30 June 2013, which will be mailed to the address of the holder of the AAVS Account.

If an Eligible Octopus Holder has suspended or cancelled the AAVS at any time prior to the issuance of the redemption letter for whatever reason(s) or if the Eligible Octopus is no longer valid for whatever reason(s) or if the Promotion Offer remains uncollected upon expiry of the redemption period as specified in the redemption letter, the Promotion Offer will be forfeited automatically without notice. No Octopus holder shall have any claim whatsoever against OCL relating to this Promotion.

Any item of the Promotion Offer cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash or other product(s).

Any act that is found or suspected to be fraudulent may result in any Eligible Octopus, Eligible Octopus Holders and/or Octopus holders being disqualified from participating in this Promotion and not eligible for the Promotion Offer. OCL shall have the sole and absolute discretion to determine the eligibility criteria of an Eligible Octopus, Eligible Octopus Holders and/or Octopus holders.

OCL is not the manufacturer of the Octopus PC Reader nor the supplier of supermarket cash coupon, and will not be responsible for any liability in relation thereto. Any enquiries or complaints arising from any item of the Promotion Offer should be resolved between the customers and the relevant manufacturers or suppliers.

The Octopus PC Reader is only applicable to Octopus cards/products with 9-digit Octopus number (including eight digits plus one single digit inside the bracket). The Octopus PC Reader is not compatible with Macintosh operating system and certain Octopus cards/products.

OCL reserves the right to (a) revise these Terms and Conditions, (b) cancel, terminate or suspend this Promotion, and/or (c) change or substitute any item of the Promotion Offer at any time without prior notice or reason.

Any enquiries relating to banking matters, including bonus points and incentives of bank cards or credit cards should be referred to the relevant financial institution(s).

Any enquiries or disputes concerning this Promotion must be made on or before 31 July 2013. Any enquiries or disputes made after 31 July 2013 will not be entertained. In case of any dispute arising from this Promotion, the decision of OCL shall be final and conclusive.

In case of any inconsistency between the English version and the Chinese version of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong SAR.

Dah Sing Bank is not the supplier of the above mentioned service, product or coupon. Any enquiry, comment or complaint about the quality of relevant service, product or coupon should be directed to the relevant supplier. Dah Sing Bank shall not responsible for any matter in relation to relevant service, product or coupon.
