Promotion Period is valid from now to 31 December 2012 ('Promotional Period'). Welcome Gifts are only applicable to brand new Cardholders (i.e. did not hold / cancel any "Dah Sing Okashi Land Visa payWave Credit Card" in the past 12-month) who successfully applied for the "Dah Sing Okashi Land Visa payWave Credit Card" listed in this application form within the Promotional Period. Each new Principal Cardholder can receive only ONE welcome gift regardless of the number of Credit Card(s) listed in this application form is/are applied. Gift cannot be converted into cash. In order to be entitled to the welcome gift offer of "HK$300 Okashi Land Cash Coupon", eligible Principal Cardholder has to filfulled the designated spending criteria within the first 2 months from card issuance. Please refer below for details.
i. HK$200 Okashi Land Cash Coupon - accumulate retail purchase and / or cash advance of HK$2,800 or above (Spending amount at Okashi Land with the card will be counted also)
ii. HK$100 Okashi Land Cash Coupon - accumulate retail purchase of HK$500 or above at Okashi Land.
If cardholder who is fulfilled both/either one designated spending criteria set above, HK$200 and HK$100 Okashi Land Cash Coupon will be offered separately. The usage will be bound by the terms and conditions printed on the cash coupon. "Up to HK$60,000 Free Interest and Service Charge Cash-In Plan" (the "Plan") is only applicable to brand new Dah Sing Bank Credit Card Principal cardholders who did not hold any Dah Sing Bank Credit Card (including Principal and Supplementary Card) in the past 12 months. For those who fail to meet this requirement, Dah Sing Bank (the "Bank") shall amend the gift preference to "HK$300 Okashi Land Cash Coupon", while the cardholder still has to meet spending requirements as stated in clauses 1 and 2 in order to get the gift. The Principal cardholders who successfully apply for Dah Sing Okashi Land payWave Credit Card can enjoy up to HK$60,000 and 15-month Free Interest and Service Charge Cash-In Plan without any spending requirement. The minimum amount for the Plan is HK$3,000 while the maximum is HK$60,000 (depending on the approved credit limit of Dah Sing Bank Credit Card account). The Bank has the absolute discretionary right to determine the final Cash-In amount of the cardholder and is not obliged to provide reasons. A confirmation letter will be mailed to the Principal cardholder within 1 month whilst his/her credit card has been approved. Cardholder may contact Dah Sing Bank Customer Service Hotline 2828 8002 to accept the Cash-In offer or by completing the confirmation letter and return to the bank with required documents by mail / fax within 60 days since card issuance. Upon receipt of all necessary documents, the Bank requires approximate 2 weeks to process the request and disburse the fund to the cardholder's designated personal Hong Kong dollar currency bank account (the "Relevant Bank Account"). The receiving bank may deduct the handling fee from the Relevant Bank Account. The Bank is not liable for the mentioned handling fee or any interest or other expense caused by this. The cardholder has to arrange with receiving bank for the expense or interest (if applicable) directly. The Bank will debit the Credit Card Account (the "Relevant Account") with the approved Cash-In amount by 15 consecutive monthly installments, commencing from such date as the Bank may prescribe at its discretion. The Bank will debit an amount equivalent to the Cash-In amount from the credit limit of the Relevant Account until the last installment has been debited. The Bank will proportionally increase the deducted credit limit every month after the Bank has successfully debited the Relevant Account with the Cash-In amount due. No financial charge will be charged provided that the cardholder makes full payment of the credit card statement balance on or before the payment due date. For cardholder who makes partial payment of the credit card statement balance, cardholder shall pay a finance charge on any monthly installment amount due but unpaid at the prevailing interest rate of the Relevant Account. On default of payment of any monies due under the Relevant Account or in case of breach of any provisions of the applicable terms and conditions governing the use of Dah Sing Credit Card Cardholder Agreement ("Agreement") or any of these terms and conditions by cardholder or in case of cancellation or termination of the Relevant Account or the Plan for whatever reasons, all outstanding installments or balance or monies owing under these terms and conditions shall be immediately due and payable by cardholder and shall at the absolute discretion of the Bank, be debited against the Relevant Account and a Cash-In plan cancellation fee of HK$300 will be charged by the Bank, therefore, the Agreement shall apply to all the said installments or balance. The Bank has the right to accept or reject any application without providing any reason. The Plan is not applicable for "Credit Card Bonus Point Scheme", "Instant Cash Reward" / "Cash Rebate", "Mileage Program", "JFT Dollars" and any other Bonus Point or Cash Rebate Reward Program. Even if these terms and conditions have to be stipulated by other articles, the Bank has the right to inform the cardholder to suspend or terminate the Plan. These terms and conditions shall form part of the Agreement and shall be construed accordingly. In case of any inconsistency discrepancy between these terms and conditions and the Agreement, these terms and conditions shall prevail. The valid accumulated spending amount for welcome gift includes retail purchases, cash advances, "Jetso Installment" monthly installment amount, "Cash-in Plan" monthly installment amount, balance transfer amount (which has been debited to "Dah Sing Okashi Land Visa payWave Credit Card" Account), "Payeasy" bill payment, interest-free monthly installment amount and Octopus Automatic Add Value Service (Octopus AAVS) amount; but excluding the following transactions, including but not limited to bank handling fees (including annual fee, financial charge, late fee and cash advance handling fee etc), casino transactions, unposted / cancelled / refunded and all unauthorized transactions. Retail spending and cash advance transactions of Supplementary Card would be counted towards the Principal Card account. The Bank will determine the eligibility of Cardholder for entitlement of Welcome Gift based on the Cardholders' transaction records held with the Bank. The Bank will determine the applicable Welcome Offers of each eligible Cardholder based on the Cardholders' transaction records held with the Bank. The redemption letter regarding the welcome gift will be sent to the eligible Principal Cardholder within one month upon fulfilling the spending requirement and the relevant Credit Card Account must be valid and in good standing status at the time of issuing the redemption letter. Gift redemption is bound by respective Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions are set out on the redemption letter. Gift choice cannot be changed once confirmed. Welcome Gifts are on a first-come-first-serve basis while stocks last. In the event that the gift item is out of stock, the Bank reserves the right to substitute the Welcome Gift with another offer without prior notice.
If Principal Cardholder cancels his/her new Credit Card within 13 months of card-issuance date, the Bank reserves the right to debit a handling fee of HK$300 to the relevant Principal Card Account without prior notice.
