Dah Sing Bank Launched "Free Banking
Pass" With the coming of full implementation of Interest Rate Deregulation in July 2001, major banks have already voiced their action plans for more banking charges levied to customers. In contrary, subsequent to Dah Sing Bank's January announcement of not implementing monthly charges to low-balance deposit customers which has successfully brought to the Bank for over 10,000 customers in just 2 months' time, it launches a "Free Banking Pass" by which customers open a savings account, current account or i-Account can enjoy a host of free banking services. Apart from the renowned "Octopus Auto-Add-Value" Service, "PayEasy" On-Line Bill Payment Service and "PhoneBanking / ebanking" Service, customers who open any Dah Sing savings account, current account or i-Account from 20th March, 2001 to 31st May, 2001 will enjoy the offer of a "Free Banking Pass", enabling them to use the following services for free :
