Dissemination of Corporate Communications

Dah Sing Financial Holdings Limited


Pursuant to the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the "Listing Rules"), the Companies Ordinance (Chapter 622 of the Laws of Hong Kong) and the Articles of Association of the Company, the Company has adopted electronic dissemination through the websites of Dah Sing Bank and Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited ("HKEX"). The Company only sends Corporate Communications1 in printed or electronic form to shareholders upon request.

1.  Notification of publication of Corporate Communications

The Company will no longer notify shareholders by post upon publication of Corporate Communications electronically.

Registered shareholders2 are advised to register for the 'News Alerts' service available under the 'Market Data' section of the HKEX's website at www.hkex.com.hk in order to receive timely alerts on the publication of the Corporate Communications or provide their email address to the Company's Hong Kong share registrar, Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited ("Hong Kong Share Registrar"), for receiving email notifications of publication of the Corporate Communications. Please refer to the Reply Form for Registered Shareholder for more details.

Non-registered shareholders3 may either register for the 'News Alerts' service of HKEX or liaise with their Intermediary(ies)4 and provide it/them with an email address for receiving email notifications of publication of the Corporate Communications. Please refer to the Reply Form for Non-registered Shareholder for more details.

Shareholders should ensure that their email address provided is valid and functional.

2.  Actionable Corporate Communications5

Pursuant to the Listing Rules, the Company is required to send Actionable Corporate Communications to its shareholders individually.

Registered shareholders are recommended to provide an email address to the Company for receiving Actionable Corporate Communications electronically. If no functional email address is provided, or for certain Actionable Corporate Communications which, because of its nature, have to be sent to the registered shareholders by post, the Company will send Actionable Corporate Communications in printed form by post to their respective addresses as appear in the register of members of the Company maintained by the Hong Kong Share Registrar.

 3.  Request for Corporate Communications in printed form

If you want to receive future Corporate Communications in printed form, please complete and return the Reply Form to the Hong Kong Share Registrar or send an email to dahsingfinancial.ecom@computershare.com.hk specifying your name, address and request to receive the Corporate Communications in printed form. Please note that such instruction shall be valid for one year starting from the receipt date of your instruction and will expire thereafter. If you wish to continue to receive the Corporate Communications in printed form after the expiry of your original request, you are required to submit a fresh request to the Hong Kong Share Registrar.

You may at any time to change your choice of means of receipt of all future Corporate Communications by giving reasonable notice in writing by post to the Hong Kong Share Registrar at 17M Floor, Hopewell Centre, 183 Queen's Road East, Wan Chai, Hong Kong or sending email to dahsingfinancial.ecom@computershare.com.hk.

1 Corporate Communications refer to any documents issued or to be issued by the Company for the information or action of holders of any of its securities or the investing public, including but not limited to, the directors' report, the annual financial statements together with independent auditor's report, the interim report, a notice of meeting, a listing document, a circular and a proxy form.

2 Registered shareholder refers to a person who hold the Company's securities in his/her/its own name and whose name appears on the register of members of the Company.

3 Non-registered shareholder refers to such person or company whose securities in the Company are held in the Central Clearing and Settlement System and who has notified the Company from time to time through HKSCC Nominees Limited that he/ she/it wishes to receive Corporate Communications.

4 Intermediary(ies) refer(s) to the bank(s), broker(s), custodian(s), nominee(s) or HKSCC Nominees Limited through which the Company's securities are held.

5 Actionable Corporate Communications refer to any Corporate Communications from the Company that seek instructions from its securities holders on how they wish to exercise their rights or make an election as the securities holders. For the avoidance of doubt, Actionable Corporate Communications do not include notices of general meetings and proxy forms.
