Terms and Conditions relating to Executive Club:

  1. Dah Sing Bank, Limited ("The Bank") will credit the awarded Avios to the British Airways Executive Club ("Executive Club") membership account according to the Executive Club membership number provided by the Cardholder. The username of Cardholder's Executive Club account must be the same as the Principal Cardholder's name of the Credit Card. If the pertinent Avios fails to be credited due to an incorrect Executive Club membership number or username provided by the Cardholder, the Bank will not be held liable and will not re-issue the pertinent Avios.
  2. If the Cardholder is not an Executive Club member at the time of their Card application, the Bank will automatically enrol the applicant into the Executive Club as part of the application. The Cardholder agrees that the Bank can share their personal data with British Airways Plc. Cardholder for processing the Executive Club Program.If the Cardholder changes their Executive Club membership number after the credit card has been used, the Cardholder must inform the Bank within 1 month of the change in order to get the Avios transferred to the new account. The Bank and British Airways Plc will not be held liable and will not re-issue the relevant Avios if the Cardholder does not provide updated information in such case. British Airways Plc shall have sole responsibility for the Executive Club but excludes any responsibility or liability for the Dah Sing British Airways Credit Card. The Bank will not be held liable for any service provided by the Executive Club.
  3. All awarded Avios will be credited to the Executive Club membership account, as provided by the Cardholder at the time of the Card application, within 6 weeks after the issuance of Credit Card statement and the Cardholder's Credit Card account must be valid and in good standing at the time when the Bank awards the Avios to the Cardholder. If the awarded Avios fails to be credited due to an incorrect Executive Club membership number or username provided by the Cardholder, the Bank will not be held liable and will not re-issue the awarded Avios. After the Bank credits Avios to Cardholder's Executive Club account, the Bank will not hold any responsibility towards the Avios converted.
  4. Avios are issued subject to Executive Club terms and conditions. Reward flights and upgrade bookings are subject to availability. Taxes, fees and carrier charges apply. Detailed information can be found on here or by calling +852 3002 1208.
  5. Cardholders are subject to the terms and conditions of the Executive Club and the Bank's Credit Card Terms and Conditions relating to Avios. In case of inconsistency on the related terms between the Executive Club and / or the Bank's Credit Card Terms and Conditions, the Executive Club terms shall prevail. The Executive Club program offer is subject to change without further notice.


General Terms and Conditions:

  1. For every HK$6 spent locally in Hong Kong on qualifying retail transactions by Cardholders, 6 bonus points will be earned which will be automatically converted to 1 Avios. You can earn double Avios whenever the transaction is made on your birthday. The extra Avios on birthday will be calculated by respective cardholders (Principal Cardholders can enjoy extra Avios upon spending on Principal Cardholder's birthday; while Supplementary Cardholders can enjoy extra Avios upon spending on Supplementary Cardholder's birthday). The bonus points will be automatically converted to Avios on the statement date of every month. To be eligible for auto-conversion, Principal Cardholder must also be an Executive Club member. The total bonus points earned for Principal Card and Supplementary Card will be calculated and converted to Avios separately. The Avios thus earned from both Principal and Supplementary Card will be credited to the Principal Cardholder's Executive Club account. Bonus point will be calculated based on each retail transaction (calculated up to the last integer) shown on the Credit Card monthly statement. Any Avios beyond the decimal place after conversion will not be accumulated.
  2. Cardholders will earn 1.5 Avios for every HK $6 spent on Overseas Transactions (see definition below) or 2 Avios for every HK $6 spent at British Airways online or British Airways Contact Centre for purchasing flight tickets that have a British Airways prefix flight number, but not applicable to bookings made on British Airways Plc franchise, codeshare or alliance airlines, provided all such purchases amount to a Qualified Transaction.
  3. Qualified Transactions for Avios conversion includes retail transactions and Octopus AAVS amount only, but excludes the following transactions, including but not limited to cash advance, autopay, "Happy Installment" installment amount, "Cash-in Plan" amount, Branch Cash-in amount, balance transfer amount, Stocks Investment Savings Plan, "Payeasy" bill payment, "Jet Payment" payment amount, tax payment, interest-free monthly installment amount, "Tap & Go" top-up amount, cheque payment amount (if applicable), bank handling fees (including but not limited to annual fee, financial charge, late fee and cash advance handling fee etc), casino transaction, unposted / cancelled / refunded and all unauthorized transactions. Dah Sing Bank, Limited ("The Bank") reserves the final decision on the applicability of the Avios conversion.
  4. Foreign currency transaction and cross-border transactions in Hong Kong currency include transactions in Hong Kong Dollar or Foreign Currencies made outside of Hong Kong, transactions in Foreign Currencies made in Hong Kong and transactions at any merchant not registered in Hong Kong. Transactions made via the official website and other point of sales of British Airways (even if conducted in Hong Kong and in Hong Kong currency) may be treated as cross-border transactions in Hong Kong currency and related transaction fee may be levied.   5. The respective Avios will be deducted if there is any cancelled or refunded transactions on the monthly statement.
  6. Cardholder will be entitled to receive an extra 250 Avios should they choose to rent a car with Avis and pay for the rental with their Dah Sing British Airways Credit Card.The Avis Car Rental Offer is offered by British Airways Plc and is bound by related terms and conditions, please visit here for details.
  7. If Principal Cardholder cancels their Dah Sing British Airways Credit Card within 13 months from card issuance, the Bank reserves the right to debit a handling fee of HK$300 to the relevant Principal Card account without prior notice.
  8. The Bank and British Airways Plc reserve the final rights to amend these terms and conditions and / or amend or terminate this offer at any time without prior notice.
  9. All matters and disputes will be subject to the final decision of the Bank and British Airways Plc.

 

Terms and Conditions for Welcome Offer:

  1. Promotion period is valid from 15 February 2018 to 31 December 2018 (both dates inclusive) (the "Promotion Period").
  2. 4,000 Bonus Avios ("Welcome Offer") is only applicable to new Principal Card applicant (i.e. not holding any Principal Card or Supplementary Card of any card type issued by Dah Sing Bank, Limited ("the Bank") in the past 12 months) who successfully applied for Dah Sing British Airways Platinum Card within the Promotion Period "Eligible Cardholder"). Each Principal Card applicant can only apply for one Dah Sing British Airways Platinum Card and is entitled to the Welcome Offer once only. Each Eligible Cardholder can only enjoy the welcome offer ONCE (according to the first approved Dah Sing Credit Card) regardless of the number of Principal Card applied.
  3. To enjoy the welcome offer, Eligible Cardholders are required to accumulate Eligible Spending of HK$6,000 or above within the first 2 months from the date of card issuance.
  4. "Eligible Spending" includes retail purchase, cash advance, autopay, recurring payment amount (e.g. Octopus Automatic Add Value Service, Autotoll Automatic Top-up Services etc.), Stocks Investment Savings Plan, interest-free monthly installment amount, gift redemption amount (if applicable), cheque payment amount (if applicable); but excluding the following transactions, including but not limited to Mobile Payment Transaction through mobile application(s) that is/are made available by the Bank from time to time (e.g. Apple Pay, Google Pay™, Samsung Pay, etc.), Mobile Transfer and Top Up Transactions (e.g. PayMe, WeChat Pay, TNG, Tap & Go, etc.), "Happy Installment" installment amount, "Cash-in Plan" amount, Branch Cash-in amount, balance transfer amount, bank handling fee (including annual fee, financial charge, late fee and cash advance handling fee, etc.), "Payeasy" bill payment amount, "Jet Payment" payment amount, casino transactions, unposted / cancelled / refunded and all unauthorized transactions. Eligible Spending of Supplementary Card will be combined to the Principal Card account. The Bank reserves the final decision for determining if the transaction fulfills the welcome offer requirement.
  5. The Avios will be credited into the Eligible Cardholder's British Airways Executive Club ("Executive Club") membership account within 6 to 8 weeks upon fulfillment of the spending requirement. Please check the Avios record in your Executive Club account accordingly. The relevant credit card account and Executive Club account must be valid and in good standing at the time the Avios is credited into Executive Club account. The awarded Avios will be credited to Executive Club membership account according to the Executive Club membership number provided by the Cardholder. The Username of the Executive Club membership account must be the same as the Principal Cardholder's name of the Credit Card. If the Avios fail to be credited due to an incorrect Account Number or Username provided by the Cardholders, the Bank will not be held liable and will not re-issue the relevant Avios.
  6. The use of the Avios is bound by the terms and conditions set out by British Airways Executive Club. For details, please visit www.ba.com/theclubterms. The Bank is not the supplier of the Avios or the relevant products and services. Any enquiry, comment or complaint about the quality of relevant product(s) or services should be directed to the relevant supplier(s). The Bank shall not be responsible for any matter in relation to relevant product(s) or services.
  7. Eligible Cardholders are required to keep all relevant original sales slips. In case of any disputes, the Bank reserves the right to request Cardholders to submit the relevant original sales slips and other supporting documents for inspection. All sales slips submitted to the Bank will not be returned.
  8. The Bank reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions and/ or cancel the offer at any time without prior notice.
  9. The Terms and Conditions contained herein shall form part of the Agreement governing the use of the Dah Sing Credit Card and shall be construed accordingly. In case of any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and the Agreement, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
  10. All matter and dispute are subject to the final decision of the Bank.
  11. In case of any discrepancy between the English version and the Chinese version of these terms and conditions, the English version shall apply and prevail.

 

Promotional Terms and Conditions for British Airways Ticket Discounts Promotion ("Discount Offer"):

  1. The Promotion period ("Promotional Period") is valid between 30 January 2017 and 15 February 2019 (both days inclusive). The booking period of the air ticket is from 30 January 2017 to 15 February 2019. Travel must be completed on or before 15 August 2019.
  2. The Discount Offer is only applicable to customers holding a Principal Card or Supplementary Card (each an "Eligible Cardholder") of Dah Sing British Airways Platinum Card issued by Dah Sing Bank, Limited ("The Bank").
  3. Eligible Cardholders are entitled to a 10% Discount Offer for a round trip air ticket purchased with Eligible Card through the designated website of British Airways PLC ("British Airways"), www.ba.com/dsb10 using the promotion code "CARDOFFERH" and their Executive Club membership number/username and PIN during the Promotion Period for flight departing from Hong Kong . Discount is applicable to the total roundtrip price of every air ticket including government taxes, fees, carrier imposed charge or fuel surcharge and other taxes and fees (if applicable) on the same booking.
  4. The Discount Offer is valid for all published fares in any cabin – World Traveller, World Traveller Plus, Club Word or First on flights operated by British Airways. The Discount Offer is not valid for flights on code share or franchise carriers.
  5. Discount Offer applies for up to 8 passengers booked on the same booking for the same flights. Eligible Cardholders must travel together to qualify for the Discount Offer.
  6. If an Eligible Cardholder fails to input the designated promotion code during payment transaction and is unable to enjoy the Discount Offer, neither the Bank nor British Airways will be liable or bear any responsibility.
  7. For newly enrolled British Airways Executive Club members, please allow 24 hours to use the promotion code.
  8. All rules of roundtrip fare purchased apply, including but not limited to advance purchase, minimum stay, weekend-add-ons, and cancellation/refund rules. Discount Offer is subject to British Airways fare rules and conditions of contract and other significant restrictions available on ba.com and may be limited or withdrawn at any time without advance notice.

  15. In the event of discrepancies between the Chinese version and English version of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.

 

Terms & Conditions of Dah Sing British Airways Platinum Card "Member Get Member" Referral Program ("MGM Promotion"):

  1. Promotion period is from 19 March 2018 to 31 May 2018 (both dates inclusive) ("the Promotion Period").
  2. The referrer of the MGM Promotion must be the Principal Card Cardholder of Dah Sing British Airways Platinum Card ("Eligible Credit Card") issued by Dah Sing Bank, Limited ("the Bank") ("Referrer").
  3. When Referrer and Referee have fulfilled the following requirements, Referrer will be entitled to 1,000 bonus Avios for each Successful Referral ("Successful Referral", as defined below)("Referral Reward")
    • (a) Receive a unique referral application link ("Referral Link") through the pre-registered referral email sent by the Bank OR
      (b) Register this Promotion with the Eligible Credit Card through www.dahsing.com/card/ba/mgm/en during the Promotion Period.
           After successful registration, the Referrer will receive a Referral Link via email within 24 hours. Please make sure that the email address of the referrer correct and valid.
           Re-registration is required if Referrer does not receive the Referral Link after 24 hours. Each Referrer only needs to register once during the Promotion Period.
    • Share the Referral Link to others ("Referee") within the Promotion Period
    • Referee must not hold/cancel any Principal or Supplementary Credit Card issued by the Bank in the past 12 months and submit application for brand new Principal Card Cardholder of the Dah Sing British Airways Platinum Card through the Referral Link as stated above within the Promotion Period and have the card issued on or before 30 June 2018 ("Successful Referral").
  4. There is no limit to the number of referees the referrer can make.
  5. The Referral Reward will be credited into the Referrer's British Airways Executive Club ("Executive Club") membership account within 3 months after the Promotion Period ("Offer Fulfilment Period"). The relevant credit card account and Executive Club account must be valid and in good standing at the time the Referral Reward is credited into Executive Club account. The Referral Reward will be credited to Executive Club membership account according to the Executive Club membership number provided by the Cardholder. The Username of the Executive Club membership account must be the same as the Principal Cardholder's name of the Credit Card. If the Referral Reward fails to be credited due to an incorrect Account Number or Username provided by the Cardholders, the Bank will not be held liable and will not re-issue the relevant Referral Reward.
  6. The use of the Avios is bound by the terms and conditions set out by Executive Club. For details, please visit www.ba.com/theclubterms. The Bank is not the supplier of the Avios or the relevant products and services. Any enquiry, comment or complaint about the quality of relevant product(s) or services should be directed to the relevant supplier(s). The Bank shall not be responsible for any matter in relation to relevant product(s) or services.
  7. The Dah Sing British Airways Platinum Cards held by the Referrer and Referee should maintain as valid and in good credit standing during the entire Promotion Period and Offer Fulfilment Period. Otherwise, the Bank will reserve the right to forfeit the Referral Reward without prior notice. The Bank shall have the sole discretion in determining the eligibility of the Referral Reward of the Referrer.
  8. Referrer and Referee must be 2 individuals, i.e. cannot be the same person.
  9. Every Referee can only be referred by one Referrer, if a Referee applied for Dah Sing British Airways Platinum Card from more than one Referral Link, the corresponding Referrer of the first submission which is successfully approved (as determined in accordance with the Bank's records) is entitled to the Referral Reward.
  10. The Bank will not take any responsibility on the sharing action of this Promotion taken by the Referrer.
  11. Successful card issuance to the Referee is confidential; the Bank will not disclose any information to the Referrer.
  12. The Terms and Conditions contained herein shall form part of the Agreement governing the use of the Dah Sing Credit Card and shall be construed accordingly. In case of any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and the Agreement, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

  1. Relevant premium payment must be made and fully paid by the Eligible Credit Card. The Extra Avios Reward will be calculated according to the amount of the final discounted payment to Dah Sing Insurance. Once the transaction has been confirmed, no extra Avios will be earned if there is any change in premium.
  2. The Basic Avios will be credited into the Principal Cardholder's British Airways Executive Club ("Executive Club") membership account within 6 weeks after the issuance of Credit Card Statement. The Extra Avios will be credited into the Principal Cardholder's Executive Club membership account within 3 months upon Eligible Cardholders successfully enroll the JourneySure, HomeSure or MaidSure respectively. Please check the Avios record in your Executive Club account accordingly.
  3. The Avios earned from both Principal and Supplementary Card will be credited to the Principal Cardholder's Executive Club account. Avios will be calculated based on the premium transaction (calculated up to the last integer). Any Avios beyond the decimal place after calculation will not be accumulated. The Eligible Credit Card account and Executive Club account must be valid and in good standing at the time the Avios is credited into Executive Club account. The awarded Avios will be credited to Executive Club membership account according to the Executive Club membership number provided by the Cardholder.The Executive Club username must be the same as the Principal Cardholder's name of the Eligible Credit Card. If the Avios fail to be credited due to an incorrect Account Number or username provided by the Cardholders, the Bank will not be held liable and will not re-issue the relevant Avios.
  4. The use of the Avios is bound by the terms and conditions set out by British Airways Executive Club. For details, please visit www.ba.com/theclubterms. The Bank is not the supplier of the Avios or the relevant products and services. Any enquiry, comment or complaint about the quality of relevant product(s) or services should be directed to the relevant supplier(s). The Bank shall not be responsible for any matter in relation to relevant product(s) or services.
  5. The Extra Avios Reward cannot be used in conjunction with 50% birthday discount offer and staff discount offer issued by Dah Sing Insurance.
  6. The Extra Avios Reward is not applicable to the renewal of any insurance policy.
  7. Dah Sing Insurance is the insurance underwriter of JourneySure, HomeSure and MaidSure. The Bank is the authorized insurance agent for Dah Sing Insurance. JourneySure, HomeSure and MaidSure are the products of Dah Sing Insurance but not the Bank's products. Dah Sing Insurance is solely responsible for all coverage and compensation, and reserves the right of final approval.

  9. The above insurance products are subject to Dah Sing Insurance's terms and conditions. All insurance products/services are provided and sold to customers by Dah Sing Insurance. Dah Sing Insurance is responsible for the quality and availability of the products/services. The Bank makes no representation or guarantee as to the quality in respect of products/services supplied under this program.   10. The Bank and Dah Sing Insurance reserve the right to terminate or amend the Extra Avios Reward and the terms and conditions without prior notice to the Eligible Cardholders. Should there be any disputes, the decision of the Bank and Dah Sing Insurance should be final.
  11. The Terms and Conditions contained herein shall form part of the Agreement governing the use of the Cards and shall be construed accordingly. In case of any conflict between the Terms and Conditions and the Agreement, the Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
  12. In case of any discrepancy between the English version and the Chinese version of these terms and conditions, the English version shall apply and prevail.

 

Terms and Conditions of 50% Discount Offer on JourneySure Annual Travel Insurance Plan:

  1. The promotion period of 50% Discount Offer on JourneySure Annual Travel Insurance Plan ("Discount Offer") is valid from 1 February to 31 December 2018, both dates inclusive("Promotion Period").
  2. Discount Offer is only applicable to the Principal Card or Supplementary Card cardholders ("Eligible Cardholders") of Dah Sing British Airways Platinum Card ("Eligible Card") issued by Dah Sing Bank, Limited ("the Bank").
  3. To enjoy the Discount Offer, Eligible Cardholders must successfully enroll the JourneySure Annual Travel Insurance Plan ("JourneySure") via online enrollment and settle the full premium with Eligible Card during the Promotion Period. Spending is based on transaction date and the record of the Bank.
  4. Discount Offer will be given in the form of cash rebate. The cash rebate will be calculated basing on the original premium of JourneySure and deducting the total discount amount offered by other promotion of JourneySure (if applicable). The bank will rebate the relevant cash rebate amount to customers' Eligible Card account.

  5. The relevant cash rebate will be credited to the relevant Eligible Card account within 8-12 weeks after successful enrolment of JourneySure, and will be shown on statement of next month. If the Eligible Card is a supplementary card, the cash rebate will be credited to the relevant Principal Card account. Any decimal place for cash rebate amount will be rounded up to the nearest integer.
  6. Discount Offer is not applicable to ineligible spending, including unposted/cancelled/refunded and any unauthorised transactions. The Bank and Dah Sing Insurance Company (1976) Limited ("Dah Sing Insurance") reserve the final decision for determining the eligibility of each transaction. All cash rebate will be used for payment of new transaction items. All cash rebate cannot be exchanged or transferred to other account or exchanged to cash, other products, services or discounts.
  7. In the event that the transactions for purchasing JourneySure are cancelled or reversed after cardholders have received the relevant cash rebate of the promotion, the Bank will debit the premium cash rebate to Eligible credit card account without prior notice.
  8. The relevant Dah Sing Credit Card account should maintain as valid and in good credit standing during the entire Promotion Period for cash rebate and at the time when the relevant cash rebate is credited. The relevant transactions for purchasing JourneySure must be posted; otherwise, the Bank will fortfeit the relevant cash rebate without prior notice.
  9. JourneySure is underwritten by Dah Sing Insurance and is not the product of the Bank. The Bank is an authorized insurance agent of Dah Sing Insurance. Dah Sing Insurance reserves the right of final approval of the enrollment of the insurance plans. Dah Sing Insurance is solely responsible for all coverage and compensation, and reserves the right of final approval. For policy coverage, full terms, conditions and exclusions of the insurance policy, please refer to the relevant policy document.
  10. Personal data of cardholders may be collected by Dah Sing Insurance and the use of such personal data shall be subject to the Personal Information Collection Statement of Dah Sing Insurance. For details, please refer to Dah Sing Insurance Website at www.dahsinginsurance.com.
  11. All insurance products are subject to Dah Sing Insurance's terms and conditions.   12. Discount Offer shall be terminated immediately upon cessation of the partner's business.

  17. Discount Offer is not applicable to the renewal of any insurance policy.
