From now until 31 December 2012 (the "Promotion Period"), successful applicants of Dah Sing "Sanrio 50th Anniversary" Credit Card will be entitled to one of the following welcome gifts:

	15-month interest-free monthly repayment period No Service Charge Only applicable to new Dah Sing Bank Credit Card customers  (Subject to relevant terms and conditions)

1.  

Promotion Period is valid from now to 31 December 2012 ('Promotional Period').  Welcome Gifts are only applicable to brand new cardholders (i.e. did not hold / cancel any Dah Sing Sanrio 50th Anniversary Credit Cards listed in this webpage in the past 12-month) who successfully applied for the Dah Sing Sanrio 50th Anniversary Principal Credit Cards  listed on this webpage within the Promotion Period.  Each new Principle Cardholder can receive only ONE welcome gift regardless of the number of Dah Sing Sanrio 50th Anniversary Credit Card applied.  Gift cannot be converted into cash.

For Cardholders who have chosen to redeem "Sanrio 50th Anniversary Jewelry Box", they have to accumulate retail purchase or cash advance of HK$2,800 or above within the first 2 months from card issuance, in order to be entitled to the Welcome Offer.

3.

Up to HK$60,000 Free Interest & Service Charge Cash Instalment Plan: It is not applicable to cardholders who have ever held / cancelled any Dah Sing Bank Credit Cards (either Principal or Supplementary Card) in the past 12-month. For those who failed to meet this requirement, the Bank shall amend the gift preference to "Sanrio 50th Anniversary Tableware Set". The Cardholders still have to meet spending requirement as stated in Clause 2 in order to get the gift. The successful applicants of Dah Sing Sanrio 50th Anniversary Credit Card can enjoy up to HK$60,000 and 15-month free interest and service charge cash instalment plan without any spending requirement. The minimum amount for "Up to HK$60,000 Free Interest & Service Charge Cash Instalment Plan" is HK$3,000 while the maximum is HK$60,000 (depends on the approved credit limit of Dah Sing Credit Card account). The Bank has the absolute discretionary right to determine "Up to HK$60,000 Free Interest & Service Charge Cash Instalment Plan" amount. "Up to HK$60,000 Free Interest & Service Charge Instalment Plan" amount reply slip will be mailed to the Principal Cardholder within 1 month whilst his/her credit card has been approved. Applicant is required to return the reply slip and required documents within 60 days of card issuance. When the Bank receives the reply slip, the Bank will credit the approved "Up to HK$60,000 Free Interest & Service Charge Instalment Plan" amount to the applicant's designated personal Hong Kong dollar currency bank ("the Relevant Account") within 7 working days. The receivable bank may deduct the handling fee from the Relevant Account. The Bank is not liable for the mentioned handling fee or any interest or other expense caused by this. The applicant has to arrange the amount with receivable bank for the expense or interest directly (if applicable). The Bank will debit the Credit Card Account with the approved "Up to HK$60,000 Free Interest & Service Charge Cash Instalment Plan" amount by 15 consecutive monthly installments, commencing from such date as the Bank may prescribe at its discretion. The Bank will debit an amount equivalent to the "Up to HK$60,000 Free Interest & Service Charge Cash Instalment Plan" amount from the credit limit of the Credit Card Account until the last installment has been debited. The Bank will proportionally increase the deducted credit limit every month after the Bank successfully debits the Credit Card Account with the installment amount due. On default of payment of any monies due under the Credit Card Account or in case of breach of any provisions of the applicable terms and conditions governing the use of Dah Sing Credit Card Cardholder Agreement ("Agreement") or any of these terms and conditions by applicant or in case of cancellation or termination of the Credit Card Account or "Up to HK$60,000 Free Interest & Service Charge Cash Instalment Plan" for whatever reason, all outstanding installments or balance or monies owing under these terms and conditions shall immediately due and payable by applicant and shall at the absolute discretion of the Bank, be debited against the Credit Card Account and  an installment plan cancellation fee of HK$300 will be charged by the Bank, therefore, the Agreement shall apply to all the said installments or balance. The Bank has the right to accept or reject any application without providing any reason. "Up to HK$60,000 Free Interest & Service Charge Cash Instalment Plan" is not applicable for "Credit Card Bonus Point Scheme", "Instant Cash Reward"/"Cash Rebate, Mileage Program" or "JFT Dollars" and any other Bonus Point Reward Program. Even if these terms and conditions have to be stipulated by other articles, the Bank has the right to inform the applicant to suspend or terminate "Up to HK$60,000 Free Interest & Service Charge Cash Instalment Plan". These terms and conditions shall form part of the Agreement and shall be construed accordingly. In case of any inconsistency discrepancy between these terms and conditions and the Agreement, these terms and conditions shall prevail.

Gift choice cannot be changed once confirmed.

The accumulated spending amount for the Welcome Gifts includes transactions of retail purchases, cash advances, "Jetso Installment" monthly installment, "Cash-in Plan" monthly installment, balance transfer posted in Dah Sing Sanrio 50th Anniversary Credit Card account, bill payment, interest-free monthly installment and Octopus AAVS;  the following transactions are excluded, including but not limited to bank fees and service charges (including but not limited to annual fee, financial charges, late fees and cash advance handling fee, etc.), casino transactions, unposted / cancelled / refunded and all unauthorized transactions. The retail spending and cash advance of Supplementary Cardholders will be combined with the Principal Cardholder's account.

6.

The Bank will determine the applicable Welcome Offers of each eligible Cardholder based on the Cardholders' transaction records held with the Bank.

7.

The redemption letter regarding the welcome gift will be sent to the eligible Principal Cardholder within one month upon fulfilling the spending requirement and the relevant Credit Card Account must be valid and in good standing status at the time of issuing the redemption letter, otherwise Cardholder will not be entitled to the welcome gift. Gift redemption is bound by respective Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions are set out on the redemption letter.

8.

Welcome Gifts listed above are on a first-come-first-serve basis while stocks last. In the event that the gift item is out of stock, the Bank reserves the right to substitute the Welcome Gift with another offer without prior notice.

9.

The photos of the Welcome Gifts are for reference only. The suppliers of the gifts are solely responsible for the quality, availability and warranty of the products supplied, and the Bank has no liability for the quality, availability and warranty of the same. Any dispute or complaint in respect of the products, services and / or information should be directed to the relevant merchants.

10.

The reference retail price of the Welcome Gifts is for indication only. The Bank is not responsible for setting the reference retail prices and / or the difference between the reference retail prices and the actual retail prices available in the market.

11.

The Bank reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions or cancel the offer at any time without prior notice.

12.  

All matters and disputes will be subject to the final decision of the Bank.

I.   

"Bonus Point Scheme":

A)

Every HK$1 you spent with your Dah Sing Sanrio 50th Anniversary Credit Card will earn you one bonus point. You can earn double bonus points whenever the transaction is made on your birthday. The valid transactions for "Bonus Point Scheme" include retail spending and Octopus AAVS amount only, but excluding the following transactions, including but not limited to cash advance, "Jetso Installment" amount, "Cash-in Plan" amount, balance transfer amount, bill payment, tax payment, interest-free installment amount, bank handling fees (including annual fee, financial charges, late fee and cash advance handling fee etc), casino transaction, unposted / cancelled / transactions eventually returned and all unauthorized transactions. 

B)

The Bank will determine the applicable "Bonus Points" of each eligible Cardholder based on the Cardholders' transaction records held with the Bank.

C)

Cardholders are required to keep all relevant original sales slips. In case of any disputes, the Bank reserves the right to request Cardholders to submit the relevant original sales slips for inspection. All sales slips submitted to the Bank will not be returned.

II.

Comprehensive e-banking Service: For payment with Dah Sing Sanrio 50th Credit Card through e-banking service, a service fee of 1% of the payment amount will be charged (It is only applicable to the pre-registered merchants). For information of merchant list, please visit www.dahsing.com.

III.

If Principal Cardholder cancels his/her new Credit Card within 13 months of card-issuance date, the Bank reserves the right to debit a handling fee of HK$300 to the relevant Principal Card Account without prior notice.

IV.

The Bank reserves the final rights to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. All matters and disputes will be subjected to the final decision of the Bank.

In case of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
