1.

Promotion Period is valid from now to 31 August 2012 ("Promotion Period"). Welcome Gifts are only applicable to Principal cardholders who successfully applied for the Dah Sing Hello Kitty Principal Credit Cards listed on this application within the Promotion Period. Each Principal Cardholder can entitle only ONE welcome gift offer for Brand New cardholder regardless of the number of Dah Sing Hello Kitty Credit Card applied. Gift cannot be converted into cash.

For customers who choose "Kitty Intelligencebeta Tableware Set", "Hello Kitty & Dear Daniel Cooler & Warmer" and "Hello Kitty & Dear Daniel Table Lamp", he/she will be entitled to the welcome gift upon fulfilling the designated spending requirement (if applicable). Please refer below for details:

* Existing Cardholder refers to the Cardholder who did hold/cancel any Dah Sing Hello Kitty Credit Cards listed in this application form and Cardholder who did hold/cancel any Dah Sing Hello Kitty Credit Cards in the past 12-month.

Cardholder will receive a gift redemption letter upon fulfilling the designated spending requirement. Customers have to bring along with the redemption letter and relevant Dah Sing Hello Kitty Credit Card to redemption centre in person for free redemption (application to Brand New Cardholder) or settle with designated redemption price of the Gift (applicable to existing Cardholder) with the said card.

"Up to HK$60,000 Free Interest and Service Charge Installment Plan" (the "Plan") is only applicable to brand new Dah Sing Bank Credit Card Principal cardholders who did not hold any Dah Sing Bank Credit Card (including Principal and Supplementary Card) in the past 12 months. For those who fail to meet this requirement, Dah Sing Bank (the "Bank") shall amend the gift preference to "Hello Kitty & Dear Daniel Cooler & Warmer", while the cardholder still has to meet spending requirements as stated in clauses 1 and 3 in order to get the gift. The Principal cardholders who successfully apply for "Dah Sing Hello Kitty Credit Card" listed in this application form can enjoy up to HK$60,000 and 15-month Free Interest and Service Charge Cash-In Plan without any spending requirement. The minimum amount for the Plan is HK$3,000 while the maximum is HK$60,000 (depending on the approved credit limit of Dah Sing Bank Credit Card account). The Bank has the absolute discretionary right to determine the final Cash-In amount of the cardholder and is not obliged to provide reasons. A confirmation letter will be mailed to the Principal cardholder within 1 month whilst his/her credit card has been approved. Cardholder may contact Dah Sing Bank Customer Service Hotline 2828 8002 to accept the Cash-In offer or by completing the confirmation letter and return to the bank with required documents by mail/fax within 60 days since card issuance. Upon receipt of all necessary documents, the Bank requires approximate 2 weeks to process the request and disburse the fund to the cardholder's designated personal Hong Kong dollar currency bank account (the "Relevant Bank Account"). The receiving bank may deduct the handling fee from the Relevant Bank Account. The Bank is not liable for the mentioned handling fee or any interest or other expense caused by this. The cardholder has to arrange with receiving bank for the expense or interest (if applicable) directly. The Bank will debit the Credit Card Account (the "Relevant Account") with the approved Cash-In amount by 15 consecutive monthly installments, commencing from such date as the Bank may prescribe at its discretion. The Bank will debit an amount equivalent to the Cash-In amount from the credit limit of the Relevant Account until the last installment has been debited. The Bank will proportionally increase the deducted credit limit every month after the Bank has successfully debited the Relevant Account with the Cash-In amount due. No financial charge will be charged provided that the cardholder makes full payment of the credit card statement balance on or before the payment due date. For cardholder who makes partial payment of the credit card statement balance, cardholder shall pay a finance charge on any monthly installment amount due but unpaid at the prevailing interest rate of the Relevant Account. On default of payment of any monies due under the Relevant Account or in case of breach of any provisions of the applicable terms and conditions governing the use of Dah Sing Credit Card Cardholder Agreement ("Agreement") or any of these terms and conditions by cardholder or in case of cancellation or termination of the Relevant Account or the Plan for whatever reasons, 
all outstanding installments or balance or monies owing under these terms and conditions shall be immediately due and payable by cardholder and shall at the absolute discretion of the Bank, be debited against the Relevant Account and a Cash-In plan cancellation fee of HK$300 will be charged by the Bank, therefore, the Agreement shall apply to all the said installments or balance. The Bank has the right to accept or reject any application without providing any reason. The Plan is not applicable for "Credit Card Bonus Point Scheme", "Instant Cash Reward" / "Cash Rebate", "Mileage Program", "JFT Dollars" and any other Bonus Point or Cash Rebate Reward Program. Even if these terms and conditions have to be stipulated by other articles, the Bank has the right to inform the cardholder to suspend or terminate the Plan. These terms and conditions shall form part of the Agreement and shall be construed accordingly. In case of any inconsistency discrepancy between these terms and conditions and the Agreement, these terms and conditions shall prevail.

Gift choice cannot be changed once confirmed.

This Dah Sing Hello Kitty Credit Card program offers Platinum MasterCard and Classic MasterCard card types for customer.  Each card type consists of Hello Kitty card design version and Dear Daniel card design version for selection.  Each eligible Platinum or Classic Principle Card customer will be issued with 1 card design (i.e. either Hello Kitty version or Dear Daniel version) in 1 card type.  If customer applies both card designs in the same card type by presenting separate application forms, the first card being approved will be issued, the latter application will not be processed by the Bank.  If customer selects both card designs in the same card type with one application form simultaneously, the Bank will issue Dah Sing "Hello Kitty Heart to Heart Classic Card" to eligible Classic Card customer, or Dah Sing "Hello Kitty Love Letter Platinum Card" to eligible Platinum Card customer.

The accumulated spending amount for the Welcome Gifts includes transactions of retail purchases, cash advances, "Jetso Installment" monthly installment, "Cash-in Plan" monthly installment, balance transfer posted in Dah Sing Hello Kitty Credit Card account, bill payment, interest-free monthly installment and Octopus AAVS; the following transactions are excluded, including but not limited to bank fees and service charges (including but not limited to annual fee, financial charges, late fees and cash advance handling fee, etc.), casino transactions, unposted/cancelled/ refunded and all unauthorized transactions. The retail spending and cash advance of Supplementary Cardholders will be combined with the Principal Cardholder's account.

The Bank will determine the applicable Welcome Offers of each eligible Cardholder based on the Cardholders' transaction records held with the Bank.

The redemption letter regarding the welcome gift will be sent to the eligible Principal Cardholder within one month upon fulfilling the spending requirement and the relevant Credit Card Account must be valid and in good standing status at the time of issuing the redemption letter, otherwise Cardholder will not be entitled to the welcome gift. Gift redemption is bound by respective Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions are set out on the redemption letter.

Welcome Gifts listed above are on a first-come-first-serve basis while stocks last. In the event that the gift item is out of stock, the Bank reserves the right to substitute the Welcome Gift with another offer without prior notice.

The reference retail price of the Welcome Gifts is for indication only. The Bank is not responsible for setting the reference retail prices and / or the difference between the reference retail prices and the actual retail prices available in the market.

The Bank reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions or cancel the offer at any time without prior notice.

If Principal Cardholder cancels his/her new Credit Card within 13 months of card-issuance date, the Bank reserves the right to debit a handling fee of HK$300 to the relevant Principal Card Account without prior notice.

In case of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
