General Terms and Conditions:
  1. The Promotion shall be terminated immediately upon cessation of the participating merchant's business.
  2. Dah Sing Bank, Limited (the “Bank”) reserves the right to terminate this promotional program or amend the Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. In case of disputes, the Bank and participating merchants' decision shall be final and conclusive.
  3. The Terms and Conditions contained herein shall form part of the Agreement governing the use of Dah Sing Credit Card and shall be construed accordingly. In case of any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and the Agreement, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
  4. In the event of discrepancies between the Chinese version and English version of these Terms and Conditions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
Terms and Conditions for "Amazing Summer Travel Rewards Promotion":
  1. The Promotion is applicable to customers holding Principal Card and Supplementary Card (each an "Eligible Cardholder") of Dah Sing Credit Card (including the Bank's UnionPay Dual Currency Credit Card HKD account) or Co-brand card (including the credit card transferred from MEVAS Bank) ("Eligible Card") except UnionPay Dual Currency Credit Card RMB account, Debit Card, Cash Card, Corporate Card, Purchasing Card, Spending Card, Business Card, Gift Card, Private Label Card, "Happy Family" Octopus AAVS account and Balance Transfer Account ("Non-eligible Cardholder").
  2. Eligible Spending includes local and overseas retail transactions (“Eligible Spending”). Ineligible Spending includes but not limited to cash advance, Autopay, recurring billing transactions (e.g. Octopus Automatic Add Value Service, Autotoll Automatic Top-up Service etc.), Happy Installment, Cash-In Plan, Branch Cash-In Plan, Securities transaction, Balance Transfer Amount, Tap & Go Top-Up Amount, Settle Bills Online via eBanking PayEasy Service, Tax payment, JET payment amount, Monthly repayment of Interest-free Installment Plan, Gift redemption fee (if applicable), Cheque payment (if applicable), Bank fees and service charges (including but not limited to annual fee, financial charge, late fees and cash advance handling fee), casino transactions, unposted / cancelled / refunded and any unauthorized transactions. The Bank reserves the final decision for determining the eligibility of each transaction. The Eligible Spending of Principal Card and Supplementary Card will be combined.
  3. No request for exchange to cash or other products or return for any rewards will be accepted. All photos are for reference only.
  4. The Bank reserves the right to offer any alternative rewards and replacement if the relevant reward is not available or any issue arisen without prior notice. Quoted prices and types of the rewards may not be the same as the rewards provided in this promotion.
  5. Cardholders are required to keep the relevant original sales slip (except for online transactions). In case of any disputes, the Bank reserves the right to require the Cardholder to submit the original sales slip and all relevant documents for verification purpose. The Bank will not return all the submitted relevant documents. The Bank reserves the final right to determine the eligibility of the transaction.
  6. Spending period ("Spending Period") is from 1 July 2016 to 30 September 2016, both dates inclusive and online registration period ("Registration Period") is from 18 July 2016 to 30 September 2016, both dates inclusive. Spending Period is based on transaction date which is based on the computer record of the Bank.
  7. Eligible Cardholder is required to register at www.dahsing.com/card/travel/ during the Registration Period by entering his/her Eligible Card Principal Card number and choosing one of the "Sea", "Land" or "Air" reward and meet the spending requirement (as specified in Terms and Conditions clause 11) in order to enjoy the offer.
  8. If Eligible Cardholder is holding more than one Eligible Card, he / she is required to register once only with any one of his/her Eligible Principal Card(s) for this promotion. Registration by Supplementary Card is not accepted. If Eligible Cardholder registers more than once with his/her Principal Card(s), the Bank will take the first registration record as final. The Bank will not send out any notification if Cardholders fail to register successfully due to wrong information input.
  9. The Promotion is applicable to the first 10,000 successful registered Eligible Cardholders. Registration quota for each reward applies and on a first-come-first-served basis. Registration through the designated website will be suspended once quota is full.
  10. All the reward registration and redemption cannot be changed, cancelled or returned once confirmed by the Bank.
  11. Eligible Cardholder is required to accumulate Eligible Spending for the related reward as stated below with his/her Eligible Card(s) (including Principal and Supplementary Card(s)) during the Spending Period in order to enjoy the reward:

  13. Each Eligible Cardholder can only enjoy ONE of the rewards (including all the principal and supplementary card(s) under his/her name) during the Spending Period.
  14. Eligible Cardholder who has successfully registered the promotion during the Registration Period and successfully applied for Automatic Add Value Service ("AAVS") for his/her Eligible Octopus by linking such Eligible Octopus to an Eligible Card from 1 July 2016 to 30 September 2016 and make at least one successful AAVS transaction on or before 31 October 2016 will be entitled to additional HK$50 Cash Rebate ("AAVS Reward"). An "Eligible Octopus" shall mean any valid Octopus card or product (an "Octopus") that has never been enabled with AAVS on or before 30 June 2016. For the avoidance of doubt, an Octopus card or product in relation to any applications for changing the AAVS auto-reload amount and/or reactivation of the AAVS following suspension shall not be regarded as an Eligible Octopus for the purpose of the Promotion. Each cardholder can enjoy the AAVS Reward up to a maximum of HK$200 Cash Rebate for his/her Eligible Octopus and up to a maximum of 3 Eligible Octopus for his/her family member(s) and/or friend(s). The AAVS Reward will be credited to the Eligible Cardholder's Eligible Card account which has successfully registered for AAVS during the Spending Period in the form of Dah Sing Credit Card free spending credit on or before 31 December 2016 and will be shown on statement of next month. The cash rebate will be used for settlement of new transaction(s).
  15. The approval of the AAVS application shall be at the discretion of Octopus Cards Limited and the Bank.
  16. The Octopus identification number(s) of the Eligible Octopus used for the AAVS application(s) will be used by the Bank for identifying and verifying the eligibility for the AAVS Rewards. For the purposes of AAVS Rewards eligibility reconciliation and customer related services, the Octopus identification numbers of the Eligible Octopus will be transferred or disclosed between Octopus Cards Limited ("OCL") and the Bank. Such data will be destroyed by OCL 12 months after completion of the AAVS Reward fulfilment.
  17. The application for the AAVS and the use of the AAVS are governed by their respective terms and conditions. Please refer to the terms and conditions stipulated or as identified in the relevant application forms.
  18. The Bank will send out registration confirmation letter (for "Land" reward registrants) and redemption letter (for "Sea" and "Air" reward registrants) to successful registrants' statement address within 2 weeks after registration confirmation by the Bank. "Sea" reward registrants are required to redeem the Macau hotel package in person at designated Wing On branches (Enquiry hotline: 2928 8882, follow by 2 and 8) as instructed in the redemption letter on or before 31 October 2016. "Air" reward registrants are required to redeem the air ticket by calling / emailing to the Morning Star Business Development (Enquiry Hotline: 2722 3288 / email: bdv@mst.com.hk) as instructed in the redemption letter on or before 31 October 2016.
  19. For Cardholders who have successfully registered for "Land" reward and met the spending requirement of "Land" reward as specified in Terms and Conditions clause 11, the cash rebate will be credited to the Eligible Cardholder's Principal Card account ("Card Account") with the latest spending record during the Spending Period in the form of Dah Sing Credit Card free spending credit on or before 31 December 2016 and will be shown on the statement of next month. The cash rebate will be used for settlement of new transaction(s). If Cardholders have used more than one Eligible Card (including the Principal Card(s) and Supplementary Card(s) under his/her name) to make Eligible Spending during the Spending Period, the spending will be combined and the relevant cash rebate will be credited to the Card Account as mentioned above.
  20. Cash rebate cannot be exchanged or transferred to other account, exchanged to cash or any other gifts or used to settle statement balance.
  21. Macau package and air ticket fare does not include Hong Kong Airport security tax, other related tax, package redemption fee and surcharges. Cardholders are required to settle full payment with Eligible Card.
  22. The valid travel period of Macau package is from 1 September to 31 December 2016 on every Monday to Thursday (not applicable to 16-18 September, 1-10 October, 2 November, 8 December, 11-12 December, 20-21 December, 24-27 December and 30-31 December, 2016). Package price is subject to booking period, travel period, number of accompany travellers, hotel room type and travel product package. Cardholders can choose to upgrade / change the package details by paying the price difference with Eligible Card. Cardholder is required to pay HK$1 administration fee during hotel package redemption.   23. Cardholders who successfully register for "Air" reward can select among the below cities and airlines on the return air ticket (designated economy class). For any booking class upgrade and change of carriers, etc., cardholders are required to pay the surcharge (subject to the air fare during booking) with Eligible Card to Morning Star Travel.

  24. Under any circumstances that the confirmation letter or redemption letter cannot reach the customer, including but not limited to customer provided invalid or incorrect mailing address, damaged, lost, stolen or expired, the Bank shall not bear any responsibility and will not resend the letter.
  25. The use of Macau Hotel Package and Air Ticket is subject to the relevant terms and conditions of Wing on Travel, Morning Star Travel, Cotai Water Jet, related airlines and hotel and subject to availability. The Bank is not the supplier of the Hotel Package or Air Ticket. Any enquiry, comment or complaint about the quality of relevant Hotel Package or Air Ticket or service should be directed to the Merchant.
  26. The Bank will base on the transaction record of the Bank to determine the eligibility of Cardholder. The relevant Eligible Card should maintain as valid and in good credit standing during the entire Spending Period and when the reward is offered. The relevant transactions must be posted. Otherwise, the Bank reserves the right to forfeit the reward without prior notice.
  27. The Bank reserves the right to debit the administrative fee per reward from the relevant account of the Eligible or Non-eligible Cardholder on or before December 2016 without prior notice with the following reasons: (a) an Non-eligible Cardholder redeems reward or (b) cannot meet the spending requirement during the Spending Period or (c) redeem over 1 reward or (d) the participating credit card is invalid or in poor credit standing or the relevant transactions is not posted or cancelled or returned during the Spending Period and redemption period.
  28. The administrative fee per gift is as follows: administrative fee of "Sea" reward is HK$1,460; administrative fee of "Air" reward is HK$4,000.
