Terms and Conditions for complimentary one-way MTR journey offer
A. Apply for the Dah Sing MTR Shopping Centre Credit Card to enjoy the offer
Customers must submit application forms for the Card to the promotional counters in any MTR shopping centres or Dah Sing Bank branches, in order to receive a redemption coupon for the complimentary one-way MTR journey offer. Within three days from the issuance of the redemption coupon, Customers can redeem the offer with the redemption coupon and their Octopus Cards at the Customer Service Counter at the MTR shopping centres. Please refer to the redemption coupons for the detailed Terms & Conditions.
B. Spend with the Dah Sing MTR Shopping Centre Credit Card to enjoy the offer
i) The complimentary one-way MTR journey offer is applicable to the Principal and Supplementary Cardholders of Dah Sing MTR Shopping Centre Credit Card.
ii) In order to redeem the offer, Cardholders are required to make the specified amount of retail spending (Cardholders can combine a maximum of 3 sales slips) with the same Dah Sing MTR Shopping Centre Credit Card in one of the specified MTR shopping centres (Telford Plaza, Maritime Square, Paradise Mall, Luk Yeung Galleria and The Lane).
iii) Cardholders must present their Dah Sing MTR Shopping Centre Credit Card, originals of Cardholder Copy of the sales slips and their Octopus Cards to redeem the offer within three days from date of transactions at the Customer Service Counter of the MTR shopping centres. Customer service officers will verify the related materials and stamp on the sales slips. Stamped sales slips cannot be used for redemption of offer more than once.
C. Settle management fee with the Dah Sing MTR Shopping Centre Credit Card to enjoy the offer
Cardholders must settle management fees for their MTR managed residential flats by the Dah Sing MTR Shopping Centre Credit Card. To redeem the offer, Cardholders must present the original of previous month’s management fee debit note with payment settled through Autopay by Credit Card indicated, their Dah Sing MTR Shopping Centre Credit Card, and their Octopus Cards and redeem the offer within the month the management fee debit note is issued at the Customer Service Counter of the MTR shopping centres. Customer service officers will verify the related materials and stamp on the management fee debit note. Stamped management fee debit note cannot be used for redemption of offer more than once. Management fee debit note(s) cannot be combined for the free ride offer.
a. The above complimentary one-way MTR journey offer must be redeemed in person by the Cardholder and late redemption will not be entertained.
b. Cardholders will not be entitled to the complimentary one-way MTR journey offer should they fail to present either the Dah Sing MTR Shopping Centre Credit Card or originals of Cardholder Copy of the sales slips or management fee debit note or Octopus Card.
c. Cardholders who redeem the complimentary one-way MTR journey offer agree that Dah Sing Bank is authorized to use their personal information in the Octopus Card from MTR. Please refer to the “Notice to Customers relating to Customers’ Data” for Dah Sing Bank’s rights to Customers’ data.
d. The complimentary one-way MTR journey offer is applicable to all MTR lines (except the Airport Express) with a validity of five days. The offer will become obsolete if not used within five days from date of redemption.
e. The complimentary one-way MTR journey offer will be consumed through Cardholder’s Octopus Card on the MTR journey following the offer redemption. The offer is only applicable for a one-way journey. If the fare for the journey is higher than the amount offered by the complimentary offer, the outstanding amount will be settled by the Cardholder’s Octopus Card. If the fare of the journey is lower than the amount offered by the complimentary offer, the change cannot be refunded in cash or used for any other journeys.
f. If Cardholders redeem the complimentary one-way MTR journey offer with their Octopus Cards without using the offer on any MTR journey and redeem another complimentary one-way MTR journey offer, the latter offer will supersede the previous offer with no refund whatsoever for the previous offer.
g. The complimentary one-way MTR journey offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other MTR promotional offers.
h. Cardholders must retain the Cardholder Copy of the sales slip(s) for sixty days for verification purposes. Cardholders cannot redeem the complimentary one-way MTR journey offer with sales slips that are void or to be void. Dah Sing Bank reserves the right to impose a HK$50 administration charge (per redemption) in the event of redemption made with void sales slips. Such administration fees will be charged from the Cardholders’ Dah Sing MTR Shopping Centre Credit Card.
i. Dah Sing Bank and MTR reserve the right to alter the above Terms and Conditions at anytime without prior notice.
j. In case of disputes (including but not limited to issues related to offer redemption), the decisions of Dah Sing Bank and MTR will be final.

Terms and Conditions for Autopay of management fees
i. Autopay of management fees is only applicable to MTR managed residential flats.
ii. An “Management Fee Autopay – Direct Debit Authorization” form will be sent to the Cardholders along with their Cards. Copies of which are also obtainable from the management offices of the MTR managed residential properties. Each form should be used for application of Autopay for one residential flat only.
iii. Application forms and supporting documents submitted by Cardholders are not returnable.
iv. In the event the Cardholders’ Dah Sing MTR Shopping Centre Credit Card are terminated or unsuccessfully applied, all registered Autopay instructions will be cancelled with immediate effect. Cardholders are required to settle such management fees through other payment methods.
v. Autopay of management fees are not entitled to bonus points.

Terms and Conditions for Double Bonus Points offer
i. The Double Bonus Points offer is applicable to the Principal and Supplementary Cardholders of Dah Sing MTR Shopping Centre Credit Card.
ii. Cardholders will be entitled to Double Bonus Points when they spend with the Dah Sing MTR Shopping Centre Credit Card in specified MTR shopping centres (Telford Plaza, Maritime Square, Luk Yeung Galleria, Paradise Mall and The Lane). Interest-free installment amount is not entitled to bonus points.
iii. Cardholders must present their Dah Sing MTR Shopping Centre Credit Card and originals of Cardholder Copy of sales slips to redeem the offer within three days from date of transactions at the Customer Service Counter of the MTR shopping centres. Customer service officers will verify the related materials and stamp on the sales slips. Stamped sales slips cannot be used for redemption of offer more than once.
iv. Cardholders will not be entitled to the Double Bonus Points offer should they fail to present either the Dah Sing MTR Shopping Centre Credit Card or originals of Cardholder Copy of the sales slips upon registration of the Double Bonus Points offer.
v. The Double Bonus Points offer must be redeemed in person by the Cardholder and late redemption will not be entertained under any circumstances.
vi. If Cardholders’ retail spending also qualifies for redemption of the complimentary one-way MTR journey offer, Cardholders must redeem the offer together with the Double Bonus Points offer, otherwise the offer will be automatically forfeited.
vii. The additional bonus points accumulated by Cardholders from this promotional offer will be credited to Cardholders’ accounts under normal procedures. Cardholders’ accounts have to be valid with good credit standing at the time of receiving the additional bonus points.
viii. Cardholders must retain the Cardholder Copy of the sales slip(s) for sixty days for verification purposes.
ix. Dah Sing Bank reserves the right to alter the above Terms and Conditions at anytime without prior notice.
x. In case of disputes, the decisions of Dah Sing Bank will be final.

Terms and Conditions for Dah Sing MTR Shopping Centre Credit Card
1. Merchant discounts / shopping offers: To enjoy the offers, Cardholder must present the Dah Sing MTR Shopping Centre Credit Card upon purchase and settle the payment with the Card. All offers are valid until December 31, 2006 (unless specify). For details, please refer to the year-round offer leaflet which will be sent out with the new Card. Dah Sing Bank does not warrant the quality of the products or services provided by the participating merchants.
2..1. “Happy Installment” is only applicable to transaction(s) (combined transactions apply) valued at HK$800 (or equivalent) or above. All combined transactions must be made through the same Card account.
2.2. Cardholder needs to apply within 7 days after the transaction and keep the related sales slip(s) for proof.
2.3. Dah Sing Bank has the right to accept or reject an installment plan application without the need to provide reasons. In case of any dispute, the decisions of Dah Sing Bank shall be final.
2.4. This installment plan shall be subject to the terms and conditions of "Happy Installment" and the related terms and conditions can be downloaded from Dah Sing website (www.dahsing.com) or call 2828 4321 for details.
3. Comprehensive E-banking Services: For payment with Dah Sing MTR Shopping Centre Credit Card, a service fee of 1% of the payment amount will be charged. For information of the merchant list, please visit Dah Sing website (www.dahsing.com).
4. Automatic Add-Value Service (AAVS): Cardholder (must be the Principal Cardholder of Dah Sing MTR Shopping Centre Credit Card) can apply for "Happy Family" Octopus Add-Value Service for up to 3 family members aged 12 or above who are under the same residential address. The cost associated with obtaining a Personalised Octopus is HK$100, Dah Sing Bank will collect HK$100 on behalf of Octopus Card Limited (OCL) (including HK$50 deposit, HK$30 initial stored value and a non-refundable of HK$20 administrative fee for the issue of the Personalised Octopus). Cardholder with a Personalised Octopus Card needs not to pay the above charge. Each Personalised Octopus Card can only be reloaded once a day. The current daily automatic add-value amount is HK$250. There is no application fee for all first time Applicants for the AAVS. For existing users of the AAVS, OCL will charge a non-refundable handling fee of HK$20 for transferring the AAVS from one bank to another, or reactivation of the AAVS following suspension. Such fee(s) will be debited from Cardholder’s Dah Sing MTR Shopping Centre Credit Card account.
The annual interest rate of both retail transactions and cash advance for Dah Sing MTR Shopping Centre Credit Card are 24% and 30% respectively. According to the Net Present Value (NPV) Method specified in the Code of Banking Practice, the Annualized Percentage Rates ("APR") of retail transactions and cash advance are 25.43% and 36.76% respectively.
Dah Sing Bank reserves the rights to make the final decisions on the approval of credit card applications.
